The San Roque neighborhood of Santa Barbara is generally bounded by State Street, Ontare Road, Alamar Avenue and Foothill Road.  The area was developed as an subdivision of Santa Barbara starting in the mid-1920's and continuing into the late-1940's.  In the 1920's this was considered to be "country living" with no sidewalks, but it all filled in with the most charming array of architectural styles.  Still considered a great "walking neighborhood".  Santa Barbara's only Charter Elementary School, Peabody School, occupies a central location in San Roque.  Check 93105 for house/condo values, home sales graph and social/economic data.
